Sean is a young man that Aaron and his wife encounter during their escape from the city of Red Wing, Minnesota .

He gives Priscilla medicine after the latter contracts dysentery from a contaminated lake.
Sean accompanies them in their travels and the three later join a group of survivors. Sean defends the couple against a group of looters who injure Aaron as he attempts to protect his wife.
At some point, he died along with the rest of his group, leaving Priscilla as the only survivor.
